We formed the group in Vancouver, Canada, in 2015, with the purpose of sharing Colombian traditional rythms: we interpret Vallenato, Cumbia, Currulao, Maquerule, Puya, Sanjuaneros, Bullerengue, and aguabajos.
Our group’s name reflects one of our main purposes: we want to overcome generational gaps and so share with people from all ages and backgrounds our music. We want to reach to those who love music, and we believe that we can create a strong connection with them through our music.
To many Canadians, Vallenato is unknown; we enjoy the fact that, through our playing, we can share with Canadians the rythms of Colombia, giving them an exciting experience, thus overcoming the physical distance that exists between the two countries.
Excellent musicians, who are eager to deepen about Colombian music make up our group, bringing great ideas to achieve our dreams.
